Restaurant Le Pompadour

Written by Mark McElroy

Contemptuous service and mediocre food make this dismal eatery a “must miss.”

With its view of the sea, smart green awnings, broad patio, and snazzy interior, Restaurant Le Pompadour presents itself as a pleasant option for lunch or dinner. But the rude staff (including one young woman who refused to speak or make eye contact), incredibly slow service (our lunch of sandwiches and fish and chips took more than two hours to complete), and bland, indifferently prepared food should put the Restaurant Le Pompadour on your “must avoid” list.

Follow Zeestraat toward the sea, then take a right, walking along the waterfront until you see the green awnings. Then go anywhere else!
